PokemonFireRed was announced in the year 2003 as GameBoy Advance remake of Pokemon Red that is compatible with Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Pokemon Red is the most popular game on the series of Pokemon and the makers desired to introduce this concept for the GBA.
